Chinese Enterprises Inspect Fluorite Mines in Namibia to Build Overseas High-Grade Resource Bases
In early May, leading Chinese chemical enterprises conducted on-site inspections of fluorite mines in Namibia, focusing on verifying mine reserves, mining conditions, transportation supporting facilities and local mining policies. Namibian fluorite resources feature an average grade of over 90%, low impurity content and low mining cost. With a stable political environment and friendly foreign investment policies, Namibia has become a preferred destination for Chinese enterprises to deploy overseas fluorite resources. The inspection team communicated in depth with local Chinese enterprises to discuss cooperation models including joint development, technical export and exclusive sales agreements. It is planned to finalize mining rights acquisition and long-term supply agreements within the year, build a stable African raw material supply base, and further guarantee the security and diversity of China’s fluorine chemical industry chain.
