Erenhot Port Imported 150,000 Tons of Mongolian Fluorite in May, Stabilizing Domestic Raw Material Supply

Since the beginning of 2026, the Erenhot highway port has continuously smoothed the China-Mongolia mineral trade channel. As of mid-May, the port has imported 150,000 tons of compliant Mongolian fluorite ore. All raw materials have passed customs radioactive inspection and quality verification, and are allocated to domestic fluorine chemical and metallurgical enterprises. To meet the import demand of fluorite resources, the port has launched a dedicated green channel, optimizing the processes of advance declaration, rapid inspection and immediate release. The customs clearance efficiency has increased by 40%, with a maximum monthly clearance capacity exceeding 40,000 tons. The large-scale imported low-cost Mongolian fluorite effectively makes up for the raw material gap in East and North China, alleviates the shortage of high-grade domestic fluorite resources, and helps downstream enterprises reduce comprehensive production costs and improve operational benefits.
