Cross-Border Customs Clearance Efficiency Improved for Sino-Mongolian Fluorite Trade

Erenhot Customs optimized supervision procedures for strategic mineral products such as fluorite and launched dedicated green channels with advance declaration, rapid radioactivity inspection and batch clearance services. In May, the average daily clearance volume of Mongolian fluorite rose by 30%, and the inspection time for each batch was shortened to less than 2 hours, effectively cutting cross-border logistics costs and port detention risks. Erenhot Port has developed into a core hub for China’s fluorite imports from Mongolia, and the annual import volume is expected to exceed 180,000 tons this year.
